The Journey Back To Self

Healing Through Creative Self Discovery

finding love and light in dark times

Go back in time before all of the rules and expectations of others were forced on to you. You know, when you had a mind of your own. Who were you back then?

A child who loved to play, create, and have a good time. Joy, wonder, and excitement was and is your natural state. You knew exactly what you wanted and you just went for it.

You didn’t feel shame or make apologies for your true desires.

You didn’t spend a bunch of time doubting or criticizing yourself or trying to please others: you did what felt right to you and made you happy.

You owned your power. It was natural like breathing. Remember?

Getting you back to your natural state of joy through authentic expression is what creative recovery is all about.

Why Creative Recovery Matters

Because you want to…..

  • Reclaim your creativity and joy
  • Increase your confidence
  • Design a more fulfilling life by getting the clarity you need to follow your own path

It starts by doing the work. The work of being true to yourself. Tapping into the wisdom of the little girl inside of you is the way back to your creativity, delight and joy.

Your creative self is the source of all wisdom and joy; to be creative is to own your power by becoming what you are meant to be.

Creative Recovery starts by listening to and trusting the wise voice within that knows what you need to create a more meaningful, joyful life on purpose.

It may sound simple, but it is not easy.

There are 4 main challenges to overcome on the journey to creative recovery and fulfillment.

Roadblocks to Creative Recovery And Fulfillment

when you feel like giving up

People-pleasing, not trusting yourself, self-sabotage and that negative voice in your head are the biggest obstacles to creative recovery.

They all appear when we are operating from a place of fear.  At the heart of these fears is not feeling safe or worthy.

Not feeling safe to tell the truth; not feeling worthy to have what we really want, and not feeling worthy or safe to do what we really want to do.

This leads us to believe we don’t know what is best for us, so we deny our own wisdom in the hopes of having the approval of another.

We focus on staying in familiar places instead of figuring out how to get to where we truly long to go and do what we truly desire to do.

All of the attempts to make others happy creates anger and resentful inside because we do it at our own expense.

But there is another way to be in the world.

It is possible to heal the pain, anger and frustration.

It is possible to feel joyful and optimistic about your future. You can do that by taking the time to reconnect to your true source of power: your creativity.

The Path To Creative Recovery And Fulfillment

The work I practice and teach is about eliminating all of the rules and expectations we have been conditioned to believe are worthy of striving for, but leave us feeling drained, uninspired and trapped.

The idea that you must conform, play it safe, and seek approval instead of learning how to be who you really are, cuts you off from the source you need most: your true self.

As you do the work of reconnecting to your creativity, miracles will start to happen.

You will feel energized and capable of doing and accomplishing for more than you believed was possible before.

Creative Recovery leads to a complete transformation.

There is nothing more fulfilling or empowering than aligning with your truth to bring more joy, love, and freedom into your world.

This is the wish I want to help you fulfill.

Here’s to reclaiming your power and creating a life worth living,

P.S. How do you find your purpose?

By noticing all of the things you naturally do well and are instinctively attracted to.
